Dear Colleagues:

We appreciate your valuable feedback and patience as we continue to implement Interfolio with the assistance of our Information Technology experts. We are sending this message to clarify the Interfolio Faculty180 requirements for upcoming annual evaluations. Use of Faculty180 will not be required for the 2024 Faculty Annual Evaluations. Instead, the use of Faculty180 for 2024 faculty evaluations is optional.

The Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President is currently working with CSU IT and Interfolio to address any issues with data, to ensure that the faculty data in the system is accurate.

What does this mean for the 2024 Faculty Annual Evaluations?

• Faculty annual evaluations will still be submitted in Interfolio using the Review, Promotion, and Tenure module (Interfolio’s workflow system).
• Your CV can be uploaded to your annual evaluation case as a regular document (Word or PDF), rather than using the Faculty180 Vita.
• Faculty do not need to have complete data in Faculty180 before their annual evaluation. However, we still encourage you to familiarize yourself with the system for future use.

In the future, Faculty Activity Reporting in Faculty180 will be used in promotion and tenure cases. Faculty180 will also be useful for generating individual CVs and reports for program reviews, and some accreditations. We are working diligently with our IT and Human Resources colleagues to get the most accurate data into Faculty180 as soon as possible and will provide another update early in the spring semester.
