Call for Nominations for UDTS and Provost/EVP Celebrate! Awards – Deadline Feb. 3, 2025

Dear Colleagues:
The Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President is pleased to announce the call for nominations for University Distinguished Teaching Scholars and several prestigious Celebrate! Awards. We encourage the campus community to nominate outstanding individuals. All awards listed below will be presented in the spring and have a submission deadline of Monday, February 3, 2025.
University Distinguished Teaching Scholars
There are four appointments available for new University Distinguished Teaching Scholar designation. Appointment as a University Distinguished Teaching Scholar constitutes the University’s highest recognition of excellence in teaching.
- Eligibility requirements to be considered as a UDTS were revised last spring in the Faculty Manual and expanded to include all faculty members who hold a tenure-track, tenured, continuing or contract appointment at Colorado State University.
Provost and Executive Vice President’s Celebrate! Awards
Each year, Colorado State University celebrates the teaching, research and service achievements of CSU students, alumni and friends, academic faculty, administrative professionals and classified staff as part of the Celebrate! Colorado State Awards. The Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President is inviting nominations for the following awards to recognize distinguished teaching and scholarship, excellence, service, advising and leadership-related awards on behalf of the academic enterprise:
- Board of Governors Excellence in Graduate Teaching Award
- Board of Governors Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching Award
- Exceptional Achievement in Community Engaged Learning Awards (sponsored by TILT)
- Inclusive Excellence Award (co-sponsored with the Office of Inclusive Excellence)
- Jack E. Cermak Advising Award – Graduate Advising
- Jack E. Cermak Advising Award – Undergraduate Advising
- Kevin Ann Oltjenbruns Award for Outstanding Leadership
- Monfort Professor Award
- N. Preston Davis Award for Instructional Innovation (sponsored by TILT)
- Oliver P. Pennock Distinguished Service Award
- Provost and Executive Vice President’s Faculty Excellence Awards:
- Lincoln Laureate Award
- 14’er Award
- Teaching Scholar Award
- Research Scholar Award
