March 10, 2025

Dear Rams:

As we do every spring in a joint message from the Offices of the Provost, Undergraduate Research and Artistry, and Inclusive Excellence, we invite you to participate in two upcoming opportunities for undergraduate students to showcase their research and creative work. The events can enhance your academic experience, help you build community with your peers, and connect you to faculty mentors.

CURC – Registration & Abstract Deadline is March 14

Registration for Celebrate Undergraduate Research and Creativity (CURC) 2025 closes soon! It will be held in person at the Lory Student Center on Thursday, April 17. You can register in one or more of seven categories, including visual art, performing art, film, oral presentation, research poster, community engagement/service-learning poster, and written work.

Additional information can be found on the CURC page. CURC contact: Jennifer Riley ([email protected]).

MURALS will be held in the Lory Student Center on March 28

Students will present faculty-guided research and present their scholarly work in the following areas: creative writing, visual and performing arts, entrepreneurship, S.T.E.M.M., social sciences, and humanities. While they are not taking new submissions at this time, they encourage the CSU community to check-out the Oral Presentations from 9:15-11:45 a.m. in the LSC meeting rooms, and the Poster Gallery from 1:30-2:45 p.m. in the LSC Ballrooms AB.

Additional information can be found on their website MURALS and Instagram @murals_csu. MURALS contact: Jocelyn Lapham ([email protected]).

All students are invited and welcome to participate in MURALS and CURC. Please take advantage of these events to expand your mind and explore your future! If you are not ready to present at CURC this year, we encourage you to attend the 2025 sessions to support your fellow Rams and to learn how you can participate in either MURALS or CURC 2026.

Sincerely,
