May 8, 2024

Dear Colleagues:

The Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President is launching a Faculty Newsletter which we will be publishing four times a year, twice each in the fall and spring semesters. We will use the newsletter to keep you informed about the work, priorities, and initiatives for Faculty Affairs, Undergraduate Affairs, Graduate Affairs, International Affairs, Institutional Research, and other units serving under the purview of this office.

We also will have key announcements, points of pride for teaching and research faculty achievements, and a sampling of some of the top national stories on higher education. I welcome your suggestions and feedback, and recommendations for items you would like included.

Here is our inaugural newsletter:

Provost’s Faculty Newsletter May 8 2024 (colostate.edu)

The newsletters and other communications will be archived at: Provost’s Communications | Office of the Provost & Executive Vice President | Colorado State University (colostate.edu).

This is an exciting week to be on campus and it is infused by a surge of energy around final exams, the thrill of commencement, and the anticipation of summer. I know it is an especially busy time for you as you wrap up the semester’s academic business, and I wish you the very best. I also hope you can take a deep breath after grades are submitted, and take some time to relax and renew.

Sincerely,

Marion

Marion K. Underwood, PhD
