Dear CSU Community,

We are pleased to invite you to join us next week to discuss the Strategic Roadmap for CSU 2035 as we present a draft framework for your feedback. We encourage you to share your ideas as we together build a long-term vision of success anchored by CSU’s institutional priorities and mapped to the  CSU System’s Strategic Overview and Strategic Priorities. All faculty, staff, and students are welcome to attend one or both of these hybrid open fora.

We drafted the Strategic Roadmap as a starting point for discussion with the university community. The goal of the roadmap is to be clear about what university initiatives we will prioritize, how these initiatives will make CSU distinctive in a competitive marketplace, and what metrics will be used to measure success.

The previous administration undertook a large strategic planning effort, the Courageous Strategic Transformation, and CSU also operates under an Academic Master Plan. We appreciate the thoughtful work and university-wide effort that went into building these plans, and many elements of those plans are represented in the Strategic Roadmap for CSU 2035.

Please join us next week to help write our future story from where we stand today as one of the top public and land-grant universities in the nation. We also invite you to fill out an online feedback form in addition to any ideas, concerns, or comments you might provide during the campuswide fora or other stakeholder meetings.
