About the Search

For Colorado State University’s next Dean of the College of Business, we seek a dynamic, passionate, and caring leader with a strong scholarly record, deep academic values, excellent leadership skills, a proven track record in external relations and development, and a proven ability to manage in a way that can be leveraged to lead a world class College.

The Dean serves as the chief academic and spokesperson for the College of Business on curriculum, personnel, and resource advocacy issues. The Dean reports to the Provost and Executive Vice President.

The College of Business believes deeply that business has the transformative power to address society’s greatest challenges – advancing sustainability and innovation alongside economic prosperity. We seek a Dean who shares our devotion to “Business for a Better World“: someone who embraces our mission to transform lives through business education, scholarly research, and community engagement, who will amplify our values, and who will lead the College with passion and purpose so that we continue to shape business as a force for good.

Campus Open Forums

The search committee has selected four finalists for Dean of the College of Business. The campus community is invited to an open forum for each of the candidates; open forums will include presentations by the candidates and opportunities to ask questions.

One business day prior to each campus open forum, a folder containing the respective candidate’s CV, cover letter, Teams meeting link and feedback form will be posted here. After the open forum, a recording will be added to the candidate’s folder. To access the candidates’ information, enter your CSU NetID and password. Materials will remain available until Friday, February 6 at noon.
