Associate Vice Provost for Communications

Pam Jackson

Pam Jackson serves as the Associate Vice Provost for Communications in the Office of the Provost. Prior to that she served as Interim Vice President, Associate Vice President and Director of Internal Communications in CSU’s Division of Marketing and Communications. She previously was Director of Communications for Bohemian Foundation and Bohemian Companies and was an assistant professor in the CSU Department of Journalism & Media Communication.

In addition, Dr. Jackson worked for a decade as a TV news producer and assistant producer in Denver, San Francisco, St. Louis, and Champaign-Urbana. She also worked in public television at WTTW-TV in Chicago. 

Dr. Jackson has a Master of Science degree in Technical Communication and a Ph.D. in Economics from Colorado State University. She was awarded the 2020 BizWest Woman of Distinction Award in Education and holds fellowships from the Reynolds National Center for Business Journalism, Indiana University Freedom Forum, Colorado Colloquium on Media Ethics and Economics, and was an Economics Graduate First Year Fellow with Colorado State University. She is a member of Kappa Tau Alpha (National Honor Society in Journalism and Mass Communication) and Omicron Delta Epsilon (International Honor Society in Economics). Dr. Jackson is proud to be a Ram first in her academic pursuits and then in her professional career.
